Type of Personnel Sought Demonstrates the fundamental knowledge and skills, reasoning, judgment and expression abilities that are expected outcomes at the senior high school level. Understands the university’s educational philosophy of “Do for Others”, possesses an interest and inquisitiveness towards people and society, as well as the ambition to earnestly pursue study. Possesses ambition to independently solve problems and contribute to society. Basic Policy for Selection of Students The selection of students assesses whether applicants possess the fundamental capabilities which should have been acquired at a senior high school level and a willingness to adopt objective approaches. Written examinations mainly assess knowledge, skills, intellect, judgement and expressive capabilities and other fundamental capabilities that should have been acquired at a senior high school level. Interviews look mainly for academic interest and curiosity and a proactive desire to engage in learning.
