Mar. 2002 The Tokyo Metropolitan Koumei School for Children with Disabilities' Soyokaze Classroom is established within the center. Nov. 2005 Living-donor liver transplantations begin. Apr. 2010 The NCCHD becomes an independently administered organization. Feb. 2014 The NCCHD is designated as a central organization for pediatric cancer by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. May. 2014 The NCCHD is accredited by the Japan Council for Quality Health Care. Apr. 2015 The NCCHD becomes a national research and development organization. Apr. 2016 The Momiji House is established. Aug. 2018 The NCCHD is designated as a community medicine support hospital by the Tokyo metropolitan government. Apr. 2019 The Gene & Cell Therapy Promotion Center opens. Apr. 2019 The Gene & Cell Therapy Promotion Center opens.
