We also actively form student-exchange partnerships with overseas universities to develop human skills through cross-cultural experiences. In the student exchange program, University of Nagano students are sent to study at overseas partner universities while we accept their students to study at our university. In principle, tuition at the other university is waived during the student exchange period, and students only have to pay tuition at the University of Nagano. Prospective students are screened and examined, including the advanced language requirements. A long- or medium-term student exchange program, of six months or one year, is an irreplaceable experience. Credits acquired during student exchange are accepted as credits for the graduation requirements at the University of Nagano.
